In-play betting

Betting on live events has grown significantly because it demands swift decisions. Sky Bet prominently displays in-play events from the home page, so they’re immediately accessible.

Tapping an in-play event reveals visuals and markets. At the top, a visual depicts the ongoing event; you can switch to key statistics and information — useful for spotting players who have managed a shot on target in football. Cash Out

Cash Out is available across a wide variety of sports and markets. It’s a standard full cash-out system: take the offered amount or stay in the bet. There is no partial cash-out that lets you settle a percentage and leave the rest to ride.

Free Games

Sky Bet is well known for free games that can win prizes without risking your own cash. Favourites linked from the sports app include:

1. Super 6 — Predict six scorelines from six matches selected by Sky Bet. Predicting all six usually has a jackpot of £250,000 (occasionally boosted to £1,000,000). If nobody lands all six, a £5,000 consolation typically goes to the highest-scoring entrant.
2. Super 6 Extra — Answer six questions on a specific football match (often full-time / half-time scores, first scorer, man of the match, first booking, corners). There’s a £5,000 prize and a possession-percentage tie-break.

Live Streaming

Sky Bet streams a good number of sporting events (rights and location permitting), including football, horse racing, tennis, basketball, golf, cricket, rugby union, rugby league, darts and snooker. #RequestABet / Bet Builder

Sky Bet’s request-a-bet system helped introduce Bet Builder-style pricing to the industry. On the app, the Bet Builder is limited to four combined selections and hasn’t expanded markets as far as some rivals (for example shots on target, or builders as multiples). Bets that can’t be priced automatically can be forwarded to the pricing team for a manual check.

One advantage is stats integrated into the builder — useful for weighing markets using trends at the same time as building the bet. Football Bet Builders are available on the app.
